Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and seat them appropriately.
- Present menus,answer questions about dishes and drinks,and offer recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Take orders accurately,noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in regularly,refilling drinks,and addressing any needs.
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently and attentively.
- Present bills, process payments, and handle customer inquiries about the check.
- Set up tables with clean utensils, napkins, and glassware according to restaurant standards.
- Replenish condiments,napkins,and other table supplies throughout the shift.
- Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and resetting them for new customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with other wait staff and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- May be involved in side duties like preparing beverages or light food prep depending on the restaurant.
- Communicate any customer concerns or feedback to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and sanitation protocols.
